01 · The Crisis

A national emergency hiding in plain sight.

Canada’s opioid crisis is not a distant tragedy. It is unfolding on the street where you live, in the hospital down the road, in workplaces and schools. The numbers, reported by the Public Health Agency of Canada, are staggering — and they are still rising.

Emergency rooms are overwhelmed. Paramedics are resuscitating the same people twice in a night. Judges are weighing punishment against treatment that doesn't exist fast enough. Wait times for addiction recovery average six months or longer.

And behind every statistic is a family — a parent waiting for a call that doesn't come, a child growing up without a mother, a co-worker whose seat is now empty.

02 · Our Mission

We're here to start the conversation Canada has been avoiding.

No Shame No Blame is a national campaign to remove the stigma surrounding opioid use, create space for open and honest dialogue, and galvanize communities to act. The shame is what keeps people from asking for help. We’re here to take it away.

/ 01
Spark a nationwide conversation that reaches individuals, families, and workplaces.

/ 02
Advocate for shorter wait times, better funding, and compassionate policy.

/ 03
Support the children and families left behind by the crisis.

/ 04
Build a coordinated national strategy through multi-sector partnership.
